Mechanical Starter is a totally self-contained mechanical starter.

Startwell Mechanical Starter is a totally self-contained mechanical starter (requires no external energy sources except for manual power). It is a direct bolt-on replacement for electric, pneumatic or hydraulic starter on diesel engines. It is suitable for direct injection diesel engines from 2.5 to 12 litres (from 0.5 L/cyl. max to 2L/cyl – max 6 cyls).

Our products are used worldwide in numerous different conditions on an ever increasing range of applications.

We provide a cost effective solution to engine starting while maintaining the highest standards in reliability and safety. We are constantly developing and improving our existing range of products and adding new starters to handle an even wider range of applications. Currently our range covers engines between 2.5 litres (with the MINI starters) to over 12 litres (with the SUPER MAXI starters). Our starters are flameproof, waterproof and totally non-electric, making them the ideal starting solution in hazardous areas such as coal mines and oil rigs, where a single spark could mean disaster. Their maintenance free nature provides a fail-safe solution in remote or harsh terrains, as either the primary or emergency starting device.
